Plotting: protection? healing? don't-kill-them-they-were-people?buntailsMay 3 2011, 01:32:06 UTC
I definitely want to play with these things with Usagi. IF her healing powers would work to do it, I'd like her to heal a couple zombified characters whose muns would be interested in that. If she truly CANNOT heal them, she will have to face that and comfort herself with the fact they'll return.
In EITHER case, she will do her usual 'Don't kill them, that's still a person' and she will try to protect them from zombie-hunters. If she can heal them, she could prove it by doing so. If she can't... welp, she'll end up taking a few hits before she's forced to acknowledge that and let it happen.
Cloud and Usagi fighting together would be epic since Riku will probably be too busy running around protecting Kairi and trying to heal people like the bad ass Mofo he is.
ON THE FLIP SIDE, he'd probably be more liable to help Usagi with healing people than Cloud would be, so stuff will both of them is def. possibly. xD
She says it's not her fault. Blame the writers. This girl jumps in the line of Uranus and Neptune and Pluto combined attacks to pull the Goddess of Destruction out of the way. (Granted, Chibi-Usa was in the way too...)
And really bawls over the idea of 'once they turn they can't be saved' about the victims in Stars. (Before, you know, sprouting the power to save them because she's like that.) She's never so much "powerful" as "holy crap if we have her power, we can save the people after all".
Cloud and Usa can fight together. She'd still definitely defend herself as much as she could, if nothing else. And if turning them back normal CAN work, Riku can help out with stuff on that end.
...7 is one of the few FF games that does NOT have a 'Zombie' status effect. So I'm left wondering in the lack of canon whether Sephiroth's Esuna will work on this or not.
Maybe. I mean, casting a spell from a materia is hardly the same as what Usagi does, but power-sucking is power-sucking. Though that would probably mean he wouldn't be able to cast his other spells, either.
Esuna is practially a one-stop-shop for removing bad status effects in 7. Poisoned, blinded, turned into a frog? No problem.

Anyone interested in these types of scenes?

Awesome! We'll definitely do SOMETHING, whether this type of scene, or defending each other, or anything.

That takes some serious skill, Usagi.

Might. Mods are deciding and getting back to us I think. I'd assume it'd be similar for what Sephiroth can do?
