It's a rather unexpected occurance, it must be said-- the King travelling a bit away from the Mansion, through the woods, with no companions, with nothing but his sword.

Yet here he is, as evening falls, approaching the small home of the Orkney siblings. He's come to check in on Gawain more than anything, for he's not seen the boy in quite some time. Perhaps the Queen is concerned, or perhaps it is Arthur's own mind he wishes to set at ease. There's nothing to say he doesn't wish to see Gawain's housemates, of course, simply that he does not quite have leave to drop in on them unexpectedly.

He stops at the doorstep, rapping quietly on the door with his knuckles. He does not know how he shall be received.
