GET PAID TO BE A GEEK! - In case any of you out there were interested… Channel Seven is putting out a call to the 'Geeks' of Australia - this is your chance to shine on television!
Channel Seven is launching a local version of the international hit reality series BEAUTY AND THE GEEK and the casting call is on for a group of academically-smart men who may be slightly socially challenged and a group of good-looking women who desperately need to brush up on their general knowledge. And any other kind of knowledge, to tell the truth.
The 'beauties' and the 'geeks' will be paired up as couples for a share in a major prize package. For the ultimate social experiment, they will live together during the course of this competition, facing challenges that test the beauties on academic subjects and the geeks on social skills.
Executive produced by some guy named ASHTON KUTCHER (you may have heard of him), BEAUTY AND THE GEEK is about to enter its sixth season in the United States and is more popular than ever, and Channel Seven is hoping to not only bring the hit show to our shores, but to also surprise people, and show that perhaps, just perhaps, that reality television is not quite as far gone as people believe.
