Here is my entry a wallpaper featuring Angelina Jolie (Although she is unrecognizable(sp?))
Title: City Blues
Colours: Back,red,grey and white.
Resources:inxsomniax, my own
Emotion,feeling etc. :
This picture shows a woman who hides in the city. She lost everything and is in blues because of it. The picture of her in black and white potrays how she feels, the black takes over but there is still hope(white).
The multiply lines show roads, paths she can follow in her attempt to hide. But does she want to hide? She looks back to the black to see if everything is really that bad. It also shows her hesitation to choose a path.
Her damaged grung like coat shows the pain and suffering she has witnessed.
The white line is more to shows her face more clear but can also be seen as a small line of hope she tries to find before choosing a path.
Why the title City Blues, there is nothing blue?
Well not everything is what it seems. I tried to potray it in this artpiece. Often people are misguided or betrayed because it didn´t turn out to be as they thought it was. Thats why I put the title ´´city blues´´ showing her in sorrow and pain but also showing that not everything is what it seems.
