Haven't been here for a while. I read an old post about diesel being cheaper than 87. HA!!!
Yes I still have my Big Bad F350, however the $600-700 per month on diesel (averaging $4.39/gallon) was beyond justification. So guess what....I bought another car. Hahaha. A sporty lil 2005 Corolla S that gets roughly 35-40 mpg of the cheap gas. Whew.
Saving the truck solely for hauling. It lives hitched up to my trailer at the barn.
Went capming in Angels Camp last weekend. Been way too long since I roasted a marshmallow and cooked a weenie over an open fire. Also took Artisan up to a show in Copperopolis, where he won each class he completed!!!
We are in the running for North American Swedish Warmblood Horse of the Year!! So far we have scpres towrads both the National and Statewide dressage championships, and are nominated for the futurity. We have to get haul down to Burbank (LA Equestrian Center) in October....HOT!! But hopefully it will be well worth it.
