if man is five, then the devil is six, and if the devil is six, then GOD is seven!

well, the ceremony for the Scholastic Art contest was cool. all the artsy kids were extremely confident and dressed as expected. i was just really glad that Gerald came home to go to the ceremony and see the gallery. i miss him a lot. it was good to see him but i realized something after he left. Gerald's a grown up now. it's weird but i'm glad.

the weekend of the 15th was pretty hectic. friday i came home to find that i was accepted to UMASS Dartmouth. which is kickass even though i don't want to go there. i at least know that i'm going to college. that night i went to see Keane with my mom. the show was amazing. those british fellows gave us a good show. the crowd was insane. i've never been to a show where people were so appreciative of the performance. it was inspiring. i don't understand how Keane can make such great sounds out of vocals, piano, and percussion. i find it bold they don't have a guitarist. the lead singer is gorgeous and he definately reminded me of meghan in a strange way. it was fun going with my mom. i want to do that again.

saturday i had to wake up early for my Lesley University interview. we wound up a couple minutes late since my mom couldn't find her purse and wouldn't give up calling Donald since she was sure that he walked out the door with it. it was funny a couple days later but not then. the tour of lesley was nice. when i went for the open house a few students spoke about there experiences and two of them were working the tours. i liked that the open house wasn't just a showboat and the kids actually do get involved. the interview went well too. Dan (that's what he wants me to call him) was really relaxed about everything. he wasn't fake nice either. his favorite word was cool. which he is so it suits him. i felt comfortable so i think i was myself which is important. i swear by the end of it he wanted to accept me on the spot but he couldn't. after the interview i worked 5-11. that wasn't so cool.

sunday was the ceremony. my key ended up being a pin like a button. i wore it all last week. it's really cute i think i'll wear it every once in awhile.

monday i wrote my entire 5 page essay on the xylophone. it sucked. i hope i didn't plagerize by accident. then maddy and i got applebee's burgers and watched the Notebook. which was beautifully filmed as well as written. everyone should read the book too. we were both attempting to laugh but we were really sobbing.

the rest of the week wasn't so interesting. i'm still pissed about Life As We Know It being cancelled. fuck the OC. it's gay....literally.

i have more to say but i needed to catch up so more later.
