Revenge Served Cold
Title: Revenge Served Cold
Characters: Patrick Jane, Red John
Summary: I wanted to see Patrick Jane get some revenge on Red John (Obviously, this was written before the last season ending)

Patrick Jane walks down to the basement carrying a basket full of materials and a buck of ice cold water. He flicks on the light and looks at the scene before him.
Ned Horj, aka Red John, is secured to an autopsy table that Patrick acquired just for this reason. He is completely naked and smells of urine.
Jane sets his basket of tools onto the table beside Ned and pours the bucket of water onto Ned, to wash off the urine. He does it have hazard, practically soaking all of Ned.
"You know, this won't bring back the bitch and your girl back." Ned taunts with a small shiver.
"Oh, I know." Jane says calmly as he starts looking through his basket. "This, however, makes me feel better." He pulls out a scalpel. He starts making small cuts on the tender skin between the fingers and toes. Then he pulls out lemon juice and pours it on the wounds.
Ned hisses softly.
Jane looks up at his face and smiles. "You like that? 'Cause I'm just getting started my friend."
For the next 3 days, Jane takes his sweet time breaking Ned down till there is but a shell of what he used to be. Pat then slits his throat. He dabs a paint brush into the blood he collected from Ned and paints a sad face on the wall behind the table. He goes upstairs to make a call.
When the CBI breaks down the basement door, they see him nicely sitting beside the table, covered in Ned's blood.
"Took you long enough," Jane says, "The criminal could have killed me and been long gone by now."
Lisbon just looks at him with a mixture of shock, disgust and confusion as the man cuffs Jane from behind.
Jane looks her in the eye. "You knew I wasn't going to arrest him and bring him in," is all he says before being dragged upstairs.

A TV flickers to life. "In other news, former TV medium and CBI consultant, Patrick Jane, convicted of torturing and killing Ned Horj aka Red John several months ago, was killed in a prison riot today. Sources say Jane pissed some of the inmates off and, in fact, started the whole riot." The news anchor reports.
"Son of a bitch," Lisbon says to herself.
