NEW YEARS LAZY DAY!
well last night was pretty cool, i was looking at not doing anything at all, as i went to practice pool during the day at my aunties house and played really badly with myself and against my bro and claire when they popped around to my aunties!! so i knew that night i would be unable to play pool.....
this meant that i wouldnt be doing anything at all except my animation probably!....or looking for tourist maps of Amsterdam..i really need one badly but yet still cant find a good one!! GRRRR.....anyways so yea last night i gave my friend jon a ring at his house and his dad told me that he had gone to london..so after i put the phone down i started thinking that it would be a good idea!! that would be soo cool to go to london...i phoned nick up and asked if he wanted to go. he said no as it was too cold, he also said that i wouldnt be able to persuade him to go, well i said...ok well i'll phone you back in ten mins i gotta go check something out....so after i phoned him i phoned jons dad and asked for jons mobile...i said to jon that i would meet him in london...he said to phone him when i arrived...ok i said...so after talking with jon i phoned nick again with the intention on persuading him to go, well i managed it with a bit of clever thinking....so he came down my house and we walked to town, got the train and went to london..wow quite a lot of people on the train. really good atmosphear....BAM we were in london at the train station, i got on the phone to jon, but it was not a clear signal, and also because of this i tookages on the phone and my money ran out i put more in and phoned jon he picked up and it disconnected..i couldnt phone him again as we had no change..ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....so....
we couldnt find him!!! MAN!!! well i surpose he was going to be there on his own anyway, i never thought i would see him the whole night. So anyways we made our way on the underground at paddington to Embankment, got off the train,,OH MAN!! yup the quick way to the millenium eye was blocked off, so we went up to the streets! wow man they had closed down all the streets!! and wow soo many people and police on horses!! soo many people great atmosphear!...anyway me and nick wondered around and ended up on a bridge having an amazing view of the fireworks..a family was standing infront of us leaning on the bridge so we had to look pst them but it was probably the best view we were going to get that night. we had to stand there for an hour, and lucky we did as the house we were standing there it got packed even more!! CRAZYTOWN!....
wow the fireworks were amazing, i got some of it on camera! and wowwowowow soo many of them and coming off of the millenium eye looked amazing!....gotta say glad we came up to london....anyways after they stopped everyone was heading for underground stations, so we knew that they were going to be packeD! wow didnt know how packed!! really crazy! but fun in a way, me and nicked wondered around for ages trying to find a station,,,,haha a lot of car traffic that wasnt moving and there were women dancing out of sunroofs and some had got out of there cars as the traffic was not moving and they were dancing..pretty cool!!!....anyways we found a station...about 1am....man they blocked off all the entrances, apart from one!!!!!!!! crazy!!!! but yea for safety reasons im sure.... we went to the entrance! on the way i found a bit umbrellar...yay!...came in handy later....anyway man i've never seen so many people...im glad i wasnt small or i would have felt like i could have been trampled on...soo squashed...we had to sqeeze through a crowd and climb a barrier, then the police were trying to push everyone back at the entrance and wow...crazy....if me and nick had not of sqeezed through im sure we would have been there for like 2 hours it was MANIC!!!! anyway yay we got into the station, and it was pretty clear in there..and went to baker street then paddington..ahhhhh we arrived at paddington at like 2am...and the train was not till 3am....
nick had got given a student ticket for the train earlier and was going to pay 12 pounds for a single ticket back to reading..but i said noooooooooooooooooooooo...dont man your going to be able to get back to reading on the ticket you got given..but he said he didnt want to try it and had money to waist...AHH...because i really didnt want him to waist his money..just as he was about to buy a ticket from the ticket machine i went over to a train worker man and asked him about the ticket...he said to go to the ticket room and just upgrade the ticket instead of buying a new one...so we go there and i talk to the guy after nick as he was going to be charged like 5 pounds and i asked if anyone is going to be checking for tickets on the train and he said no...and said that there isnt really much point in buying another ticket and the ticket that nick had will be fine...
YAY so i saved him money!! we went to try find a seat for the hour wait...and looking to see what platform the train would arrive at as we wanted seats for the hour journey home!! YAY!!! i saw jon sitting on a seat..i went up behind him and pretended to scare him by patting on his back!!! and acting crazy...hehe!!!! well chatted to jon..man anoying we couldnt meet up but oh well...wish we had of thought of going to london earlier as we could have made a day trip of it like jon did..he had arrived at like 1pm!! MEH OH WELL...
me jon and nick got back to Reading station, me and nick said bye to jon and we walked home..just as i was like 7 mins away from my house it started to rain real bad which is when the umbrellar came in handy!! YAY for finding it..good find.... got home at like 05:00...yay for fun night good memories soo much better then staying in ...and coolies for spontaneus things that happen!!!!!
well leave for Falmouth saturday which is good as i want to visit carolina and helena at their flat and see tim and a few other people before i go...but im soo much looking forward to going back!!!...MANN I NEED TO FIND A DECENT TOURIST MAP OF AMSTERDAM!!!!
