House Pride? I've Got It!
Really the whole point of this post is to show the amazing Slytherin patch I got in the mail yesterday.
Also on the matter of house pride, I scored a Slytherin crest tee-shirt at Walmart today for a DOLLAR. They're in the little boys department if anyone decides to go hunting; I also got a "Muggle" and a Godric Gryffindor shirt. I bought multiples, because really, who can resist shirts for a dollar?!
On the fic side of things, I've been writing a lot lately. I had some writers block last week, so went out yesterday and spent some time at a coffee shop, writing by hand. I was amazed - the change of scenery really helped (and getting off the laptop). I may have to make this a weekly thing, because it resulted in my first non drabble fic. Said fic will be posted in a day or two, once I make some changes suggested by my great beta <3.
I also am cleaning up a drabble or two that have been sitting in my fic folder, which I wrote for challenge but never posted. I had one ready to go tonight, then reread it again and decided it needed changes. Eh. On one hand I want to post and on the other I'm going noooo.
And oh! I submitted one of my favorite drabbles so far to the Petulant Poetess archive. Time to start putting some stuff outside of LJ. I also changed the format of my fic masterlist, and added little summaries for each drabble.
