I sent this email to Jeff today...I haven't heard from him in about 3 weeks...
Subject: You need to read, understand, and respond to this
If someone is going away, and will not be capable of contact for an
extended period of time, they say bye, and give some sort of idea of
when they will be back to those that they respect and care about. I
know you have gone through a lot trying to prove that you respect and
care about me over the last few months, and I have gone through so
much more than you will ever know or understand to believe that you
respect and care for me. You always claimed that actions should speak
louder than words, you have taken about 8 million steps backwards when
you decided I wasn't worth the two seconds it wouldda taken to drop me
an email saying "Bye, I'm going backpacking, I'll be back in _______"
You never even directly told me you were going backpacking. This is
really sad cause we were finally getting to a point where I could
appreciate you as a caring and mature person again. And I finally felt
like you weren't pretending. This is really friggin depressing. I'm
unbelievably disappointed in you.
I need him in my life, but I also need him to realize he isn't 14 and the world does not revolve around him. We had come SOOO far forward and then he does this.
Seriously, am I wrong for thinking this shows a huge lack of respect and care for me?
