Alright.
Business Drama...
We live on a road that is otherwise a residential/ commercial mix, but for the row of 7 houses that we live in, strictly residential. I can't build a studio here at all. BOO. So, I'm looking to buy land, right? So I can build a studio, right? Sos I can make more money, and work more. OK.
So, Dad called today and told me that one of his clients just decided today to sell a three acre plot of land just outside of the city with a small rental house in the middle, a little half-acre to the right that butts up against a small forest, and a larger area to the left that nestles into a pecan grove.
The area in the grove is ready to be built on, with a septic system, electricity, and phone lines already run to it.
OK... it's great, it's nearly perfect, and right now, the whole thing is going for about $100,000. The renters that live there could remain there, and pretty well pay my mortgage. That's awesome. And so we went to our mortgage broker, and she thinks we can qualify for the loan. OK.
I'm NERVOUS and anxious, and I want to make the right choice for my business and our family.
We have an appointment to meet with the seller tomorrow morning.
Argh!! Nerves!!
