frustrated
Wow it's been 117 weeks since I've updated my livejournal. Maybe I will sit down to post more in my times of boredom and frustration, because that's when I'm sitting down to the computer the most.
So I posted a bulletin on Myspace, because that's what I've mainly been using for social-networking lately. I wanted to get some people, whoever, friends or random peoples, to come play dance dance tonight or go hiking tomorrow. Well I got 0 responses from that. But I guess that wasn't too bad of a thing, because I totally forgot we were going to be stuck working tonight for an un-determined amount of time doing inventory at my store. They just got done moving a bunch of people around to different stores, so after working downtown for almost a year, I'm back in Murray. Over half of my store employees haven't been there more than 2 weeks, but my store is on inventory watch this month because the previous staff screwed a bunch of things up, that we're still fixing. I'm upset that we're being punished for what the previous staff did.
If that wasn't bad enough we've been incredibly busy because almost everyone in my store has called in sick this week, including myself. I haven't called in sick for months, but had an awful stomach ache before bed on Monday night which turned into nasty-pooping-pukiness on Tuesday morning and lasted most of the day. I musterd up the willpower to pick up Rhett and Mikey and go to the poker game at Piper Down that night. I'm a firm believer that your ailments will go away faster if you try to forget about them and concentrate on other things. Maybe I'm just crazy though! :)
So instead of playing DDR by myself on a Saturday Night, I'm probably going to just go hang out at Chrisam and Rhettro's and play one of those crazy fun Wii games. We played a new one last night called Boom Blocks or something. So far Wally has been my only constant hiking buddy this year, we've just been going on short hikes. I want to hike up to Grandeur Peak tomorrow because they weather is supposed to be decent. Anyone else want to join us for this awesome hike? :) If we have people with us that don't want to go all the way, that's fine, I don't think I've made it all the way up the first attempt of the year anyway. I want to conquer Grandeur first, and then Olympus, which I've never made it all the way to the top, just the saddle once. I also want to conquer Timpanogos sometime, which I've never done.
