Luftballons
So long between posts! My livejournal is dying but I won't let it die. Granted, very few people read this but I kinda like it that way.
I watched "The Wedding Singer" tonight and I got an idea from it, at Robbie's (Adam Sandler's) wedding in the beginning of the movie, a string quartet arrangement of Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" is played. I totally want a string quartet arrangement of one of my favorite songs played at my wedding, that'd be awesome. Not that I'm getting married anytime soon, it's just an idea.
Today I worked from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and then 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Why you ask? A part-timer called in sick and my boss just couldn't bring himself to come in to work. Granted, it was his day off and I don't want to be near work on my days off. Speaking of days off, I have the entire weekend off next weekend! WOOOHOOO! And I have plans for it too. Owen and I are going to Winnipeg to spend the weekend. Ahhh bliss.
I decided that I am too ghostly white and started tanning at SunWorld today. It's right next door to GameStop so it's rather convenient for me. And being that I'm right next door, they gave me a 30% discount on my tanning package. Woohoo! I'm going to be a bronze god before I know it! The beds are awesome, they're kinda freaky when you hear them start up for the first time. They have like, a frigging launch sequence. You're in the room and this loud rumbling starts and you wonder if the world is ending till you realize it's the bed. Scury man, scury.
I have a new obsession on my Nintendo DS, and that is Mario Kart DS. I love Mario Kart, it's so much fun!
In closing, I have no tolerance for people that don't tip. There's no excuse for it. Ever.
