By dragging your feet the smallest amount of charge builds up.
A negative energy that waits for an escape route.
Anything that can bring it back to a neutral calm.
Without warning, you zap the nearest thing to you.
You feel a prick, nothing more than a tingle.
It can quickly become something to laugh over.
While it happens to everyone, some are more prone.
Surrounding yourself with insulation may save you.
Then you can never get that feeling of excitement.
Never have an escape for that negative feeling.
Imagine always feeling that tingling at the back of your neck.
So everyone keeps themselves open.
However, these tiny shocks are only the start.
Static charges can build up to incredible levels.
How will those dangerous exchanges of energy feel?
Maybe I'll just have to wait for lighting to strike.
