I AM IN A LOUSY MOOD NOW SO I DON'T FEEL LIKE TALKING TO ANYONE
unless of course.. it's you.
-this is an angsty post-
you have been warned!!
RAWR!!!!
today's sales training was.. let's just say that i didn't enjoy it.
i don't think i can do sales SALES. cos i don't even believe in it myself!! i actually hate it when people come up to me to promote stuff in that sort of ^%&*&%$#@ manner (which they are training us to do right now).
i think it's damn, damn fake.
to me, it's clear-cut - you're either interested or you're not. i hate all these sweet-talking & sales gimmicks, (basically trying to cheat people into buying). ok i know i'm starting a new job and i'm supposed to be very happy/excited about it, but the training just makes the whole thing damn x 100 fake!!!! and i can't stand it! honestly, if the customer doesn't give a damn or doesn't show the interest, i would just let him go and not bother wasting my saliva and acting all desperate for him to buy from me.
ok i'm sorry i gave such a lousy attitude during the role-play, but it's just how do you expect me to be all enthusiastic and do something that i myself not only don't believe in, but, even worse, DETEST?!
i'm waiting to see how i'd fare in my sales next week.
and have i mentioned that i hate raffles place too?
i hate the mad rushes in the mornings.
i hate seeing/walking past throngs and throngs of working adults/executives.
i hate the corporate feel of the whole place.
i hate the BIG CROWDS during lunch hour.
and i hate the evening traffic jams!!!
ohmygawd i can't work in the CBD!! (oh wait but if i have no choice but to study business, there'd be a high chance that i'd HAVE to work there next time. just what i need. GREAT.)
oh actually wait why did i even apply for business in the first place? (oh yes because it is less boring than accountancy, less wordy than law and has rather good job prospects even though it's not a professional degree)
thinking about working life SUCKS.
well actually, WORKING LIFE JUST SUCKS.
but maybe it'll suck only if you're not pursuing your passion. (oh but sometimes you don't really have a choice, do you? cos you might not be good enough for what you're passionate about. enough said.)
I AM A GRUMPY 19-YEAR-OLD TONIGHT. (yes, nineteen already. old already! last teenage year already!!!)
