My friend from the US (who is currently on exchange in Hong Kong) is coming over this weekend for a short trip. And guess what, I'm supposed to show him around! "You could take a trip around Singapore town, in Singapore city bus...." It's the first time I'm being a tourguide and I'm pretty hyped up about it! :) It's feels wonderful to make friends from a land far away and then having them come over to visit your home country. Such is the beauty of an exchange programme, or studying abroad. The stint may be temporary, but the friendships are longlasting. Goodbye isn't always forever. :)
