'utopia' ambigram (looks identical upsidedown) tattoo is booked in for tuesday. it's been years coming, but i'm excited still. right forearm.
there was an entire book of ambigrams in the parlour - some amazing ones - 'THUG LIFE', 'READY TO FIGHT', & one that said 'GET RICH' one way & 'DIE TRYIN' the other. hilarious.
it's been a pretty intense time. have been spending a lot a lot a lot a lot of my days/nights with fenwick, who is a brilliant entity. also been working relentlessly towards ben fraser's album, which has been an incredible process. i've never worked in those styles before, & i'm learning a great deal about orchestration/collaboration. of course ben is a big hero of mine, & i'm always grateful he sees something in me & wants to spend a career more or less side-by-side.
otherwise things have been pretty cruisy. i'm finding it hard to be Stoic right now, heading towards mindless hedonism & self-destruction, but that's ok, that's ok. for now.
booking (fingers crossed) my trip to Istanbul tomorrow, which will be this Dec-Feb. i am contemplating whether to go back to the USA or not, which will greatly determine how much time i spend away. we'll see!
seems like the final track listing for Cosmic Coma (solo album) will run in three parts: I. LIFE IS GOOD TIMES, II. LOVE CAUSES HEART DISEASE, & III. DEATH WILL HAPPEN. not the real titles, but you get the idea. apparently this is all i'm concerned about.
