Ugh - I’ve been stressing and stressing over the 80’s Costume Party being held for JEM! (Jenn, as in monkeyjenn; which will be RIGHTEOUS.
I had kicked around the idea of Riff Randell (from ya know, Rock n Roll High School), but that was actually filmed in 1979, so that doesn’t count. Thought about Ally Sheedy (Breakfast Club); knew if Robert went with me he’d be a perfect (PERRRRFECT) Judd Nelson as John Bender (you know it’s true).
But - he’s going to be in Corpus Christi. Still pondered, still worried. Madonna? I love to dress as Madonna (not on Halloween, just because) but that seemed a bit done (for me), and I don’t know if I could really pull it off well anymore (ahem, ya know - she’s aged better than I have tha bitch); and then I had an epiphany; as if vaquera were whispering in my ear …be fucking NINA HAGEN you idiot wench. OBVIOUSLY. NINA HAGEN!!
