The more I think about it, the more I really begin to wonder if I actually ordered Juli's present. It has yet to come in the mail, and I haven't found any evidence of having actually paid for it. I could have sworn I did though. Blast.

I ate dinner with my family over at my sister's house tonight. It was pretty damn delicious. Carson is cute for looking like a larvae. And Connor is so much fun now that he's getting older. Between the tickle fights and him making me feel awkward by pointing at my nipples, I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Julie and I watched Cabin Fever tonight. It was pretty good, but seriously not as good as the special features. Seriously. Watching this movie also confirmed the idea that I really want to take gorey pictures. This chick in one of my lj communities posted a picture of herself "dead" and said that she kind of has a fixation on taking those kinds of pictures because she loves horror movies like whoa... Anyway, doesn't that sound like fun to anyone else?!? Food coloring and kairo syrup anyone??? Eh? Eh? I bet Desirae would. I was also reminded of how much I would love to get into special effects make-up. LOVE. But I don't know how one would go about doing that - maybe I should look into it. Perhaps it's time to start dreaming??
We can belt out Hero like nobody's business
Last night was pretty fun. Jannah, Nic, and I went to karaoke at Klondike Mike's after I got off work. And Felicity was there, and Mary, Joe, and Jenny were there for a little bit. I had a pretty okay time, but I didn't want to drink, so that kind of put a bit of a damper on things. So when everyone else slipped out to smoke and Felicity was macking on Junior I peaced out to hang out with Mary, Joe, and Jenny at the Hotel. Unfortunately, they were leaving when I got there. Figures. So I talked to Josh on the phone for a while, and then just found a spot at the counter. I was there for a little while and was just about to start drawing when in walked Nic to keep me company. I thought it was sweet. And we had some interesting conversation. It was pleasant. Later on the rest of the kids came in. The more I think about it, the more I maybe shouldn't have let Jannah drive home - though I'm sure it would have pissed her off had I demanded otherwise. Ugh.
