So the weekend basement toilet replacement project has ended in abject (although hopefully temporary) failure. That's very discouraging.
But I managed to finish a small sewing project today. That's something, right? I got around to making a skirt from the salvaged bottom portion of a cotehardie dress. It's only been sitting in the "finish this" pile for, oh, several years ...
It did feel nice to have something work out the way it's supposed to. The basement toilet failure is thoroughly disheartening at the moment.
Oh, and I made soup stock! And chili!
