Photoshop Passions

Mar 19, 2006 20:51

I found some fire pictures from back in the summer taken at three different parties. I decided to experiment with photoshop in order to get an idea of what it would look like if I painted my face and body so these first two pictures illustrate that. The 3rd picture shows it as well but I made it a lot simpler. ( fire it up! )

Thank you! I guess I am the type of person who no matter how good others may think something is, I want to be better. I should be happy as I have 5 parties lined up for the summer but my idea would be to do two parties in one night. So in other words...I show up at a party with my props say at 7ish then as it is turning dark...do my number...stay about 15 to 20 extra minutes. (pay is $250.00 for the performance and it comprises no more than 30 minutes) so this means I would head out from that party probably about 9pm ish and show up at another party to begin at 10pm.

I will get better pictures though...trust me....I've got a professional photographer friend who wants to experiment with photographing fire.!! I am so looking forward to this.

Too bad you didn't live closer. I'd invite you to play your drums for me in a live performance. heh....maybe a road trip one day!

How did you get the sword to be on fire?
That is so cool!!!

I saw someone perform flaming sword once...but it was "flaming" with...birthday candles. Sad. I know.

I MISS YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That sword was purchased from Luxotica.com. It balances so well on my head and better than any bellydancing sword I have (I own 3 balancing swords specific to BD). But anyway, this sword came with a wick (kevlar) attached to the end of it. Some of my fire spinning friends told me I could attach the kevlar myself. After making my own set of poi with Ryan, I know I could do that now...so what I plan to do is buy one more of those swords (without the wick attached - I'll get it much cheaper) and do it myself. The reason I would buy their sword though is because I love the way it balances. It was only $55.00 too!

I miss you too!
