I just got back a beta'd fic from and it never fails to amaze me how she manages to still (a) love me and (b) still have a well of patience for my mistakes

"Red" ink on a fic is writer's blood, yes? Through the torture, the pain and suffering, the endless revisions comes a marvelous fic worthy of such a great writer. Oh, and the practice part? That's a practice in humility, patience, understanding, effort, friendship.... Need I go on? ;-) I'm waving the pompoms for both you and your angelic beta. Keep up the great work, kids!
