The third Portishead album will be released March 31. This is, of course, assuming Gigwise is correct in their assumption that the Island Records release schedule is correct. And assuming it won't get pushed back. Still, we've had news the art is done and the mixing started last month. I am, therefore, going to inform my hopes that they are officially up, and will now begin looking in the direction of forward, towards the end of March. Until then, if you're ridiculously lucky, you're probably going to see them play alongside Aphex Twin, Madlib, and GZA at ATP in December.
