down by the bayouuuuuuuu..
um...im back from louisiana..it was amazing! we were working on the houses of the people who live on the bayou....we were only like 8 miles from the gulf of mexico (which i did visit!!) i saw alligators and dolphins and ate a mass amount of crab! the only part i didn't like was the ride there and back...it is VERY hard to be in a CRAMMED van for 25 hours straight! God was for sure present during the whole trip though! on the way their we had to stop about 12 hours early because of numerous van troubles, BUT it all worked out good in the end because at the edge of mississippi there was a car accident with 2 adults (both were drunk) and two kids, 10 and 11. three of the 4 people in the car flew through the window. all 30 of us pull over and help out...i know that if we wouldnt have immediately been their to help find and help them the accident outcome would have been a lot worse. i met some really interesting and cool people and got to know some people a bit better!
