Taking a step away from the abyss of oblivion...
Hey guys, how is everyone? It has been forever and a day since I updated this... holy hell...
So, what news is there? The hotels in Moscow and St. Petersburg are booked, and after a brief "quarrel" with Alexei, I get along great with him again, which means not only keeping a friend, but also being able to ask him to show us around the city a bit! Also, our neighbors showed up at my Mom's exhibition, and the wife (Kira), who is from Moscow, got very excited when I told her I would be going there. She even gave me a small mountain of books to look at and agreed to meet up sometime so she could give me tips of what to do/see/etc. :))) Nothing like the casual remark of one's vacation destination to re-socialize with the neighbors again! ^___^
My exams are over now, and so is the semester. One more year to go, and then school will finally be over... I can't wait! On Tuesday, I also began my co-op for the summer, and it has been a rocky start. I hate interpreting numbers and having to think of one or several hypotheses based on those interpretations... but this is what I'm stuck with, so I must give it my best shot. I'm just absolutely terrified that I will not be able to deliver decent results when it all will be over O_O
That is one thing that I'm discussing in my psychotherapy. Yes, it has officially started now after the family doctor told my health insurance that I am in need of that. It feels good to pour my heart out, but I'm even feeling guilty about that despite the woman being a psychologist, just doing her job... I just feel like I'm too much of a burden/nuisance to everybody. Every other day, I feel utterly worthless, like it wouldn't make any difference if I'd just fall asleep forever. I hope things will get better soon, life is no fun like that... Not that I know what it is like when life is fun (or I can't remember it), but I'm guessing it's far more better than this :/
But fuck, enough of that. I have finally completed the final project for this now-ended semester, a mini-"movie" I made about Switzerland. Just a a collage, basically, not an Oscar masterpiece or anything, but yeah... If you want to check it out, here is the link:
