[The feed turns on to show Doku sitting in the living room absently carving a design into a flat piece of wood. The sound of someone fumbling with the door can be heard in the background and Doku looks up when the door swings open and Ginia staggers in, her hand holding her left side and blood visible on her clothing. Thank you. The worst is a gash on her side, I've bandaged that up. I think there might be a broken rib as well.

I'll bring what supplies I can over, but if the rib punctured a lung we might need to transport her.

Her airway is alright? Make sure it's not obstructed, and look for signs like pale, clammy skin.

Don't worry, she'll be just fine.

...Yes, she seems fine. She looks a little pale, but it might be from blood loss.

[The man, still trapped in the healer's body rushes through the door. He seems winded from running, but steady on his feet. Derek has a large bag with him, with a cross symbol on it.]

..A-alright, stay calm.

[He quickly moves over to the collapsed woman and checks her airway. First thing first, the ABCs were important when dealing with trauma.]

[He finished checking the airway, finding it clear and that the woman was breathing easily. After doing this he looked up.]

[Derek then zipped open the large case, and began to undo the bandages to get a better view at the wound to check if it needed stitches. Hey, if he treated a person in a moving car using a pen light to view the wounds, he could treat someone here. Then again, he was working without Angie.]

I don't think it hit anything vital, but it seems pretty deep and was bleeding pretty badly. I tried to clean it as best I could.

[Derek worked very quickly, first taking out a syringe and a small glass vial. It was local anaesthesia.]

Do you know if she has any allergies to anaesthesia? Or if she's on any medication? I'm going to use local, only. I need to put some stitches to close it.

((ooc: I'm not sure if Gojyo is going to attempt to stitch up Ginia's wound (there's another thread going on below that would take place prior to Derek arriving), so if he does, Derek can remove the stitches and properly do them. Ahh, the joys of multiple threads. <3))

I'm not sure. I don't think so though, for both questions.

[He found..poorly done stitches under the bandages. Blood was still seeping out. No, not good at all. Someone untrained was here before him? This put her at risk for infection if it the needle wasn't cleaned beforehand]

..I'm going to have to redo these stitches, either way. Do you know if the needle was sterelized first?

[Regardless of the answer, the man drew the liquid into the needle and tapped it to prevent any sort of air bubbles.]

Yes, the needle was sterilized beforehand, they made sure of that.
