The ignorance of so many internet commenters depresses me. The racism. The homophobia. The misogyny. Etc. are these people actually real?
A bunch showed up at tims school board meeting to try to get Islam out of the middle school subject matter. It's taught as part of world history. How can you begin to understand anything about medieval Europe without understanding Islamic influence. In the same way you can't understand it without learning background on Christianity.
