Hit the ground and roll

So, I've been here for almost a week now, and I have to say I'm glad to be back. I love walking outside and seeing so many friends. I love being busy and going to meetings and having a

So yeah, that's it. The huge room. Exciting. You're jealous, aren't you? I have more pics, if you want to see them, just ask. This has been "spirit week" in the sorority, so we learn about all the secrets of recruitment and living in the house and it's all very exciting. Classes don't start until Wednesday, so the past week has been like a vacation for me. I wake up, go to a few meetings, eat, work out, party, sleep, and do it all over again. We even had a party for the Miss America pageant which was incredibly exciting b/c Miss Arkansas made it so far. I was soooo proud to be an Arkansan. I took a shot each time they announced her progress in celebration.

I've been going to willard almost every day to keep tabs (taps?) on my people there. I miss living with Laura, b/c we were perfect roommates, but I have a feeling we'll stay close. Auditions are this weekend. Which makes the year start off with a bang. I was considering the a capella thing, but I think that I'm going to shy away from it still. Perhaps next year? Perhaps not. I do have private voice lessons which was a bit of a booster for me. I'll meet my teacher sometime soon.

I miss my boyfriend a lot. He's incredible. Long-distance is a bit short of incredible. My phone bill tends to dramatically increase when school starts back. Sorry, daddy. Anyway....LR should be closer to Chicago.

I've made up my mind to post more often. I feel like it's the only way to keep in touch with some. Which is very pathetic, but mostly true. Feel free to e-mail me! Or real mail, which is even better. Do that via
