The Diary of Anne Frank just ended. And the summer is closing in on me. This has really been an incredibly rejuvinating summer. Though I haven't had the chance to "relax" considering that I work all the time and had rehearsals/performances to deal with, being in a show has boosted my spirits enough to where I'll be able to go back to school with a positive outlook on everything. For those of you who came to see it, thank you very much. (yay laura, I can't believe one of our plans actually worked!) For those of you who didn't...screw you, it was incredible. :-)

It's really nice to have this theatre to come back to. They're so positive and complimentary, and pretty much the opposite of everything I've experienced so far at NU. And from talking to some of my friends in NY (from LR), they feel the same way. It's nice to have this friendly environment to boost you up for the "real world" again.

I wrote a really sappy post a while ago about why I love lex. But it became far too sappy for others' eyes. It is now a private post. Sorry. Suffice it to say, I love him for many a reason.

I have recently poked a hole in the cartilage of my ear, which is exciting. Actually, the nice lady at the tatoo parlor on 7th street did it, but in any case...there is a beautiful little silver ring in my ear. I have a few questions (i'm looking to you ADRO or...anyone with a cartilage piercing). When will it stop hurting when I rotate the ring? I'm not one for pain, and every time I move it...I kind of want to take it out. And when can I take it out and replace it with something new? Though the lady was nice...she gave me very little information about how to take care of it. So I've been reading millions of terrifying online articles telling me how to prevent a deadly infection. Eep....I'm scaring myself again.

I miss you kids that no longer live here or in Conway. I wish I could have seen more of you (especially Ben Carson who neglected to say goodbye to me). If you're still in the area, give me a call.

And with that, I'm through.
