Worst Audition of My Life
Basically, at an audition today for four musicals (in addition to a way to get an invitation to audition for my favorite musical that NU is doing NEXT FALL!!!!) and for the director of the musical theatre program at Northwestern, I fucked up. I fucked up so badly I had to start my fucking song over!!!! And if you're not "in the know," that is a cardinal sin of auditioning. The damn accompanist played so fast and my accompanyment is so hard, and I got lost. There was no way in hell I'd be able to sing through the entire song, so I stopped. I waited for her to stop playing (after what felt like an eternity) and I re-slated my song. Me: "Hahaha, I'll be singing 'Trip to the Library'" *nervous looks to the fucking bitch at the piano.* So I start over, the beginning is still a bit sketchy, but the rest is perfect. I performed the hell out of the song. I guess I knew that I couldn't fuck up any more than I already had.
Nevertheless, because Dominic is scary and grudge-holding, all this means that I will probably never do a musical at Northwestern. Kind of sad, huh?
