HAPPY HANUKKAH!
I celebrated my first Christmas this afternoon with the Sullivans. You guys (Non-Jews) get soooo many presents! Maybe it's just my family, but most years for Hanukkah, even if I do get 8 presents (which isn't a definite), usually at least 2 nights are taken up by a calandar and socks. I do love me some socks though. This year, I got to go shopping with my mom and I got wool socks. See, I told you! Hehe, anyhow...Christians have definitely morphed the birth of Jesus Christ into something fun for the whole family. Way to go guys!
I had a really good time today. It's so fun to sit with the Christmas tree and have presents passed out (I even got a present from lex's parents! Awww) and listen to Christmas music and eat lots of food. I think it's a nice holiday. And it's a wonderful precursor to...
