Thats just what I needed...
Ok now I've been away from Florida and back in MA for almost 24 hours now.
Saturday: Woke up, finished some last minute packing. Went to the airport. There was this middle eastern guy behind me in security who they took to another room and when he came back he looked so scared and defiled. Then I got on the plane. We landed in New York, I had to wait to get on my other plane. I got on and went to Chicago. Then from Chitown to Tampa. That ride stunk, I was sitting between these two guys, one smelt like a shitty baby's diaper, the other like a musky deer. But I finally got to Tampa a little past 8. I was renunited with my sister for the first time since January. Then we went to Hooters to get dinner, ate and went home and unpacked. Went to bed early because it was a very long night.
Sunday. Woke up, went for a run. Went to the gym. Got a sweet "reeces pieces" protein smoothie from this smoothie place next to the gym. Then I went and showered and got dressed. It was like 2 now. I went to my sisters work via taxi. She works at this resturant called "The Green Iguana." Its wicked tight. Its like a tiki hut but its so nice and chill. Its right on a lake and has the tiki hut roof but also a more resturanty area. There was this reggae band playing too so that was pretty sweet. I forget exactly what we did after that. No I remember, we wanted ice cream so we went to this wicked nice mall, its called International Mall. But we forgot it was sunday and it was closed. We still got ice cream though. But then we had to go out and run some erands and get some stuff for her apartment. Then we just went home and hung out and went to bed a little early.
Monday. A little of the same, went for a run, went to the gym. Then came home and went to the pool to lie out in the sun. Man the weather down there is unbelievibe, it was like at least 80 every day and the coldest it got at night was like 68. Then home and showered then went and got some food at subway. Then went to the International Mall and walked around a little bit. It is soo nice. They have all of these upper class stores like Gucci, Dior, Louis V.(not sure on the spelling so I won't try.) And some store that was like Abercrombie, but so much nicer, and like add $100 to everything. We met up with my sisters friend Julie, and went over to her other friends, Miguel. From there we went to the drive in to see Fever Pitch and Amityville Horror. Fever Pitch was a cool movie, we loved it. Amityville Horror is terrible. Then I drove them home because they were all drinking, and we know Devon doesn't drink. We went back to Miguels and watched Space Balls, then went home at like 2. I drove cause my sister was a mess. Let me tell you, Florida highways and roads suck.
Tuesday. My day started the same everyday so I won't keep writing it over and over(Run>Gym>Sun>Pool>Shower. Then we went to Cocoa Beach to visit with my grandparents. It was really nice to see them, but kind of sad because my grandmother isn't doing to good. I mean shes not dying or anything but shes forgetting a lot of stuff and she seems kind of confused sometimes. But I mean pretty good for being almost 90. She is like a 60 or 70 year old, she is up around does everything she always has. From there we went to the bar/club Bahasa. It was kinda lame, there was a lot more guys than girls but still fun.
Wednesday. Run>Gym>Sun>Pool>Shower. Eat. Went to pick up my sister's friend Delia. Went to Ybor(E-Bor), which is the Historic Part of Tampa, like this little street of bars, tattos parlors and clubs. Oh and a couple pizza places. We went to go check out the place where I was gonna get my tattoo.(I never got it because my sister is a broke shit and we didn't have enough money because we waited to long). Then back home and got ready to go out. Then we went club hopping. First to Hedo for a little bit, which was more of a bar. Then to Amp which is more of a dance club. Then I drove the drunk shits home.
Thursday. A very routine day. Nothing out of the ordinary. I had to stay in that night to do a project too.
Friday. Run>Gym>Sun>Pool. Went to a differnt mall to eat and my sister had to get something. Then went back to get ready for the Red Sox game. Went to the game, had a blast. Red Sox lost, I don't want to talk about it because I will get down. But it was crazy there were so many more Red Sox fans than Rays fans. Then went home and went to bed.
Saturday. Woke up, my sister had to work Friday night so she stayed at her friends house. I had to drive there to get her, then drive to the airport. Then I was off to Raleigh, NC. From there NY, then back home to Boston.
I guess its good to be home. It was so nice down there, it was just what I needed, a relaxing time and now Im ready to just put it in overdrive for the next few weeks. I only have 29 days of school left and then its done. I am really looking forward to summer.
I AM WORKING AT THE BROCKTON ROX!! Yea thats right, I got the job.I am gonna be doing concessions. Crackerjacks, Peanuts!!
