the learning channel

Apr 01, 2005 20:48

tlc has been my life as of late, that and the food network (channels 48 and 55 respectively.) flipping back and forth, i learn things.

how to make a 30 minute meal AND only spend 40$ a day on food, from rachel ray
surprising your family members with a new room from wywo.
how to turn yogurt into 5 scrumptious meals from the iron chefs
dressing like a professional from stacey and clinty

this obviously has made a profound impact on my life. but the two that have changed me the most (currently) are:

in-a-fix
and
clean sweep.

today i have decided to play both, without the helpful carpentry profesionals and professional organizers. so, i don't get a nice clean freshly decorated room in the end, but i'm sort of clutter free. if you consider clutter-free having boxes of things i don't want scattered about the house and bags of peeled wallpaper acting as beanbags in your living room.

anyway. what i'm saying is, i've peeled more wallpaper and i've got lots of things to sell now. some books (which might go to theresa) some movies (sorry vhs and one dvd) some clothes (okay those are probably good willing it or going to my neice) and some misc. stuff that i don't know what it is yet, but will be going. purses. board games. babies. stuffed animals. lots of bath and body stuff i never used.

i'm going to have a tag sale when it doesn't rain.

so....may?
