Ruby ruby ruby ruby! Ah, do ya do ya do ya do yaaa?
First day on the job/training at Ruby Tuesday!!
I had an awesome time.
I'm going to be a server, and I have menu items to memorize, seating to memorize, and lots of steps to remember! I've never served before in my life, but the managers didn't mind.
My coworkers seem really nice, and things started to get fun around the dinner rush, when I got to help run food out to tables and follow some of the other servers.
The only problem is, they haven't taught us the menu yet. So one of my encounters went like this:
Me: Ooookay, here you go! You got the...buffalo wings, it looks like, Ma'am?
Lady: No.
Me: ....Really? These look like...
Lady: We got the chicken tenders.
Me: OH! You're right, these ARE chicken tenders. With...sauce? Hot sauce?
Lady: Mild.
Me: .....Alright. Yes. Chicken tenders with mild sauce. Gotcha, you're all set! Enjoy!
Lady: ......

The food looks really good, I can't wait to try it!
