My idea for the Love Never Dies postcard is that this is when Y. Hammerstein (mind the !spoiler warning)[Spoiler (click to open)]/The Phantomlearns that Christine has fallen ill (in my mind, she finds out she is pregnant and is sent to the province like what the aristocrats used to do when their wives were increasing).
