X-Men aka X-Men: The Animated Series
The concept of mutants was very cool to my child self. My favorite mutants were Gambit and Rogue. I also loved the intro theme music because it was awesome.

This series had a lot of story arcs which I liked. I wished the movies were more like X-Men: The Animated Series. I wouldn't even mind the costumes because it would definitely be a step up from the boring black leather bodysuits they wear in the movies.

X-men had: Sentinels, Apocalypse, Phoenix and Dark Phoenix, Mister Sinister, and time travel with Bishop and Cable. There was also the Savage Land where there was a Pteradactyl-man who terrorized Charles (Professor X) and Erik (Magneto).

I love Rogue because she's not perfect. She has her faults and mistakes. Plus I love her distinctive voice.

Last but not the least, I love Gambit because he could imbue stuff with energy which would then explode (like the cards he usually plays with). I think Gambit made me want to learn how to shuffle cards over and over.
