[And here's Nill, sitting on a small cot in an undisclosed location. She's testing something out in front of the camera, hand signs that are spelling out something. N-I-L-L. She does this several times, and then drops her hands to tangle in the skirt of her dress. Her head tips off to the right as she stares over at the camera, a look on her face

[Spider, looking mush more subdued than usual, comes on camera and spells out his own first name, and then the sign for 'spider' as well. ]

[Nill has no idea any other letters but the ones in her name, but she gets that he's trying to sign out his name. The sign for spider itself makes her smile and she copies it, eyes focused down on the movements of her hands and fingers. She briefly glances up at the camera, as if she's asking if she's doing it right.]

[Spider will nod encouragingly, make the spider sign again, point at himself, and then point at the spider tattoo on his forehead]

Oh. That's your name?

[Nill is nodding slowly, and she curiously looks into the camera, bringing up a finger to point. Her head tips off to the side and she mouths the word 'you'?]

[video ugh excuse minato's fail-sign, it's hard to put into words]

[Looking exhausted, but smiling nevertheless, Minato makes a couple of quick gestures: touching his fingers to his mouth and extending his right hand, laying it flush in the palm of his left, and then turning them both over and forming fists, rapping his knuckles against his wrist.]

Good job!

[He repeats the gesture more slowly as he speaks. When he's finished, he makes another one, forming arches with both hands and rolling one hand forward, palm up, and then pointing at the camera.]

[Nill shrugs in response to his question about how she is doing, and then focuses on copying his gestures, slowly and clumsily. She decided that she likes spelling out her name better, as she has those signs memorized, and does these signs instead.

She likes Minato, since he's the one teaching her all of these things, and she offers him a big smile.]

[Nill shakes her head, but offers Will a cautious smile. She opens her mouth as if she's going to try to mouth a word, but instead signs her name once again. Very slowly this time. N-I-L-L.]

[Nill nods, and tries signing out her name again, the gestures more slow and less clumsy. When finished, she looks up at the camera and offers vash a meek wave.]

[Nill copies Vash's name and mouths his name once she is finished, head tipped off to the side. 'Is that your name?']
