(no subject)
Sooooo today I didn't have to work. Took care of the animals for the rents. Stayed at there place last night (am here again tonight). Got some books from the library. And by some I mean six. And I've already read one today and started on another. The first ended up being weird romance, soft-core-christian porn. Um yeah. I was thinking more along the lines of historical fiction when I picked it up. Whatevs. I likes to reads. Now I am reading Life of Pi. Finally. *Shakes fist at nothing in particular*
Had the interview in Saugatuck today. Problem is, on the phone the lady just told me that she'd show me around the theatre and just sort of meet face to face. Nothing about it actually being an interview. So I get there and its all hardcore interview and I'm a bit thrown by it. And of course I didn't bring my resume (though the already had it) or my references and I realized I said I hadn't done anything outside of theatre work in school...but yeah, while in school I worked with stray cat and worked on the play in Saugatuck last summer. Ugh. I'm more interested in the Coldwater thing at this point. Very weird vibe from the Saug. folks. hrmm decisions
Rented Brokeback Mountain. D and I got subway (two days in a row for me...and I make sammiches at work) and then watched the movie. Was not expecting butt sex in the first half hour. Weird movie. Very aggressive kissing and groping. Not weird in a bad way, just not what I was expecting. I liked Jacks mom. Like she knew everything and accepted it. I wanted to hug her.
I get to work the Jazz Ensemble show tonight so hopefully I get a bunch of tips. Scott leaves in a couple of days...not doing to great on that front. Kalynner and Cyle will be here this weekend, and mom gets back with gram Sat so hopefully I'll be okay at least some of the time.
Note to self : learn shorthand, adapt for qwerty keyboard (typing "bit" instead of "by it" is not something most people will follow) additionally. Look into moving to New Mexico. Perhaps go to St. Johns? ooh la la
