So, single living keeps bringing up one ugly spectre. Money.
On paper I can live perfectly happily on the money I bring in every month, however it seems that paper lies.
Every month there are unexpected and unavoidable expenses. Last month it was £600 pounds to keep my car on the road, this month it was car tax and now an unexpectedly high electricity bill.
Now I haven't been using much power and have for the last two months been submitting my own meter readings to ensure I am billed accurately, however somehow British Gas have still managed to fuck this up and although from next month my bill should then be accurate and fine, this month it's about £80 over what I actually used to cover up for their previous "estimations" being utterly wrong.
Not only wrong but as I can view them all sequentially online... I have to wonder if the program that makes these estimates is in fact smoking crack.
So yes, I will now have to watch everything this month like a fucking hawk if I still want to be eating come payday. Or in fact the week before payday.
Oh yes, and to top it off, my free Sky runs out at the end of the month, not sure if I can afford broadband thereafter. And I work for an ISP.
fuck it
