Or more accurately ideas! But I love SImon Pegg, so I went with that title.
Anyway, yes, I've been having a few ideas at the moment, both for Flickers, and for as yet unbegun projects. I've even had a few that might help Mindwalker work, but that's on hold at the moment.
Most has been about Flickers, both creatively and in terms or presentation and production. One of my weekly pleasures is reading Freakangels, and much as of course I wish there was more each week, the fact that I do see the story progress and move on each week (apart from the damn intermissions), and I have to wonder if this isn't the way to go.
On the creative front I spent a while talking with
bubblecat29 last week and I've found a way to knit the separate stories together into a cohesive thematic whole, but I want to do more than that. People touched the way these characters are being, well that's going to create a bond, even if they haven't met yet. And given that people with such extreme experiences are going to want to talk about it, and living in the modern world of tweets and blogs, the idea that these people who aren't too geographically displaced aren't going to find each other... well that's the kind of fantasy I don't want to write.
So my 13 separate stories are looking more and more like become 10 separate stories with hints of connection and then one 3-part ensemble piece where events escalate and reach a climax.
