New directions
Like most people these days I use twitter. LIke most people using twitter I get random new followers, some of whom are spammers and some of whom are not.
I got a few new random followers this morning, and sure enough, a couple were spammers, and a couple were not. I had a look through the twitter feed of one of these random new followers and I found a piece of advice from one of them.
"I truly feel that open-mindedness is a key to success. Hear people out. Be proven wrong. Take criticism. Try new things."
I've decided to take this random advice to heart. So that's a new thing already! I'm unstoppable!
But seriously, I've started to come to the realization that the way I have been living my life simply isn't tenable. It's important that I not change who I am for anyone else, but maybe it's OK to change it for me. I'm fed up with being fed up, time for something new I feel.
