Fun
Shawn and I did our volunteer thing at St. Patrick's senior citizen center...in DETROIT. I didn't know it was in downtown Detroit...that was nifty. At least we were inside due to the weather. I actually kinda had fun...Shawn and I got to hang out with Theresa from work and her boyfriend Nick. It's nice to have couple friends again...and they have a son named Nico that's four days older that Noah. It's nice to have friends that are parents, too.
It was kinda cool...they had Irish dancers at the senior citizen center. They (especially the young ones) were amazing. They keep their upper bodies sooo still, and move their legs sooo fast!
In the bar next to the room we were working in, this old drunk guy was serenading all the ladies...lol. He was singing VERY loudly...and he was pretty good!
I ate so much junk today...pizza, nachos, a hot dog, ice cream, pop...I don't think I ate ANYTHING today that could be thought of as "good for you".
Hmmm...Shawn and I have an appointment with a real estate agent tomorrow. We're going to go find out how much we can get approved for as far as a loan is concerned, so we can start looking for a house that's in our range. I tried to get a hold of Amber today to get Josh's income info, but I couldn't reach her. I was hoping I could get that so we could look for a house we could all live in.
I can't think of anything else to say. It's late, I'm tired, and I have work in the morning.
