Now living in Fallon, NV
Well I have just finished out my first week, living here in Fallon, NV. So far it is working out pretty good. My parents and I are getting along well (though I am sure there will be some issues at some point) and their 2 little dogs are very happy to have another person to play with and pay attention to them. ;)
I am working on getting my NV driver's license but it seems that I left my copy of my birth certificate in a box that was put into storage back in CA, so I have ordered a copy and it should be here before the end of the month. I am also looking around at jobs but there is not a lot in my field (IT/Help Desk) out here as most of the jobs are either in the Sparks/Reno area or on the Naval Air Station (which requires a secret clearance that I do not have). Not going to give up though and will keep looking.
We did have a great day yesterday. My parents and I drove into Reno to have breakfast with some of their friends from the Fraternal Order of Eagles at Mel's Diner. Then we went to see my brother, Doug, and we also got to see my nephew Riley and his girlfriend Ashley. I have not seen any of them in a few years so it was good. My brother then treated my parents and I to a movie. My mom saw Alice Through the Looking Glass and the rest of us went to see Captain America: Civil War. Great movie. :)
