One of those days.....
Today was not as rough as I thought it could have been(especially with how lousy I slept last night) but it still had it moments.
I got into work and my boss told me right away that some reports that I had put together for another manager had some mistakes. I looked into it and sure enough there were, and I found some others as well. So I spent the morning correcting query text and then rerunning 10 reports, 3 times each(for 3 different months). After that things were pretty good until the end of the day. Our client decided to drop 15 tickets into our queue and as I was opening tickets in our system to cover them, I got a call from one of the managers telling me to make sure that I created 2 tickets for each since we would be sending 2 technicians out for each so that meant opening 30 tickets. It took me about half an hour to finish making them (since I had to also add a couple of locations to the system).
The good thing was that the drive home was really good. I made it home in great time.
I am so glad to be home. Hopefully I will sleep better tonight. Wish me luck. ;)
