summer life
So lately I haven't really been doing much. Just taking classes at community college. (government part 2 and economics) Also working at Allstate insurance, which I am so thankful to have gotten. It was really lucky because my dad just went into the place and was talking to them, and then he started talking about me and how I didn't have a job, and the guy was like we need him to help out. I was really happy because I had never had a job before.
The job is so boring though.. scanning papers and shredding them for five hours a day is way too tedious. Except now, my boss doesnt want me to shred because i make a mess shredding (when taking the trash out) and because he says I am scanning the files into the computer too slowly. But I really like my co-workers. They are around my age and they are Guatemalan, so they bring Guatemalan food and stuff. They even got me into reggaeton, which I am REALLY liking right now.
I'm trying really hard not to get bored because I know that once I get bored, I start thinking, and I think a little too much and I don't like it. It sounds crazy, but once I start thinking, I get into this weird state where I am always irritable and sad looking and stuff like that so my goal this summer is to try and NOT think by keeping busy with activities.
