a dilemma of sorts
Hi everyone, long time not rant.
Well, don't get your hopes up because this is really just another borderline rhetorical question that I want someone else to decide for me. As incentive, there's potential to spend 87$ of my money, so if you think making Dan go poor and/or get hammered is funny, that's something...
anyway...
I got invited to a party (re: invitation to entire contact list) by one of my LA film contacts. AKA, not really a friend, but friendly, but definitely a professional interest. AKA I don't really know him or anyone else on his parenthetically aforementioned contact/invitation list.
However, it IS a private party at a very nice (and completely reserved) bar in LA. Cap is 280 people. I have to decide by tomorrow at 5pm (PST i think). People will all be Milan's (one of the hosts and the aforementioned contact) friends.
Top Shelf Open Bar. If I drank heavily, this is basically the best thing in the world.
I'm just worried that I'd go there, not know anyone, and it would be one of those super LA parties where no one wants to talk to you if they don't already know you or you don't look like you can help them get paid/laid. And at 87 bucks, it's not exactly something I want to just up and walk away from if I don't like it.
SO!! All y'all who have nothing better to do, make up my mind for me. And if anyone is in the area *cough cough*
sakechanbd *cough* and would like to accompany me -- and fork over 87$ along with me -- let me know because guests are welcome.
