Gah! I love these. The Brouwer and Versteeg ones broke my heart though. The Kris/Jonny one and the Brouwer/angst one killed me. Oh Brouwer!

LOVED the Toews/Kane with baby Joel one! OMG now I can't wait for this series to take effect! I need to get on doing the rest of the background now. I'm going to do back history and looks and personalities now. And the Keith and Hossa one was fantastic as well. Poor baby Ella and poor Duncs losing his wife. I love that Hossa just told him that he was gonna go home with him so that Jana could teach him. BEAUTIFUL!

Is it weird if I had those two rattling around in my head ever since they were traded? Not specifics, but the whole "empty new apartment" angst and "Jonny trying to help the guys that are being traded" sadness.

I am totally using the Joel section in the bb!Hawks 'verse. Ella though, I'm not to sure on, because while I like it, I'm not too sure I want that to be Duncan's starting point with Brent. I don't like angst that much. Heheh, I'll admit I only did a quick Wiki check for her name, I've decided that Jana is like, Super!Mom to *everyone*. And...is she the first Hawks wife to have a kid?

The empty new apartment/not wanting the guys to help him in almost broke my heart. And poor Jon, trying to be everything for everyone.

She was the first one to give birth this year. But Jamal has kids already but he might be the only one. Unless O'Donnell has kids. Emery doesn't and I don't think Brunette does either. And then most of the other kids are too young.

I really do want to see Toews and Kane with kids. I think they'd be awkwardly adorable with children. :)

I figure, even if you've gone through a trade before, it's different right after winning the Cup. It's like this all-time high, and then BAM. You get the rug pulled right out from under you. It's got to make the experience that much worse.

Jon takes his role as captain seriously, and I think that extends to off the ice as well, and beyond trades. He still talks to the guys we lost, makes sure they're okay on a personal level, and when they're in someone else's town, or someone comes back to Chicago for a game, he makes sure they get to spend time together after the game, no matter what.

Huh. Eh, she's still Super!Mom.

It breaks my heart thinking of the boys leaving in the middle of the celebration. :( Lile really makes me sad and hate the business side of sports.

Toews totally stays friend's with the ex-Hawks. He hung out with Ladd at the NHL media tour before the season. And Andrew and Brandy are actually living in Jonny's condo in Winnipeg. Lol. So cute! And I love that a good chunk of the boys went to Ladd's wedding this summer. :) Winning a Cup together forges a bond that can't be broken.

Oh you know she's super mom and keeping everyone in line. Her and Abby Sharp.

I can't wait to go read it! Two minutes. You can be not tired and write me all the Toews/Kane you want. :)
