It's My Year, Baby!
HAPPY 27th BIRTHDAY to ME!!!
When I was little, I always thought the year I turned 27 would be a magic year. That's when I would travel the globe or when I would get married and start a family or when my career would take off... no matter what someone asked me, 27 was when it would happen. And even though I've become somewhat less starry-eyed over the years, that's one idea I still hold on to. And because of that, I'm going to push myself to do all the things I've been putting off... like conquering the world. It could happen. Because this is my year!
[A/N: It seems the Universe agrees with me. The office is officially closed due to inclement weather. Of course, it would have been nice to find that out before I left the apartment, but whatever... A snow day's a snow day. Amanda's going to take the train up so we can spend the afternoon shopping. And then she, Joe, Becki, Alex and I are all going to Morseland tonight for a special birthday dinner. Huzzah!]
