You'd think with all the things running about inside my head I'd update more. Maybe it's for the better, maybe I'm just lazy. I was talking the other day with my roommate Tory (lesbian), or Merryweather as I call him, about how people think. In our heads we run conversations withour selves. We were curious if bilingual people think in two langauges or just one langauge predominatly. Which led to the question, how does a deaf person think? Someone who's never heard anyform of language that wasn't visual. Have they developed their own langauge inside their minds or do they work from visual cues alone? Without words, what is the base process of thinking? How did cavemen run thought trains? How does an infant process information? How do I ask these questions in such a way I can receive an answer I can understand? Or is there a gap between us that cannot be breached by modernization. Would I have to take a step down the evolution chain to find out and could I take that step forward again?
In other news I'm working on yet another story. This is a ghost story that I formulated out of a differnt plot I couldn't work with. I might keep the 'Noxland' name, though.
"Did I come in the kilt or did I at one point have pants."
"That's not a kilt Jammie. That would be a plaid towel."
"So, I did have pants then."
