maybe i'll marry a croatian. still thinking about it.
Last night I got to thinking about this guy I met in Pula, Croatia while I was at a hostel and he and his friends from the university were setting up some seminar for university students throughout eastern europe and so i got to meet a lot of people that weekend.
He was from the capital, Zagreb, and when this kid from New Zealand and I went back to Zagreb we called him and his friends and went out and they were just so awesome.. but I think that this kid fell for me, or really just had a huge crush on me and we did have some weird connection - just one of those things - and when we were at the beach at Pula - they have pebbles instead of sand, we'd sit there and throw pebbles into the water but he was able to make the pebbles bounce and glide through the water - i forgot what the term is. We had some deep discussions to a point where his analyses of me had tears rolling down my face...
He really did try to propose to me, I took it as a joke, but I really dont think he was kidding. So I wrote him an email last night and he replied: "Ofcourse I remember you Renata. I still think about our conversation on the beach in Pula...." And some other random stuff and that he's doing pretty well and finishing up with all his classes and then he goes "...I would love to hear from you more often, because we do have some conection don't you think??" haha. I wasn't kidding. And he said if I want to go back to Croatia he'd love to see me - maybe I'll consider it and that he still has my pictures on his computer.. awe. I like these Croats, they're awesome and so welcoming!
And in the end he goes,
"P.S - would you like to marry a croat?"
haha. I started laughing out loud.
